San Enrique is a peaceful residential area within the municipality of San Roque, located inland from the coast between Sotogrande and the town of San Roque itself.

San Enrique sits in a quiet, elevated position with views over the surrounding countryside and towards Gibraltar. The area is primarily residential, with a mix of Spanish families and international buyers drawn to its calm atmosphere and good access to both the coast and the A7 motorway. You are a short drive from the beaches of Torreguadiaro and the marina developments of Sotogrande, and equally close to the commercial centre of San Roque town for everyday services. Property here tends to be more affordable than in Sotogrande or the coastal villages. You will find a good selection of townhouses, semi-detached villas, and standalone houses, many with gardens and private pools. Much of the housing stock dates from the past two decades, offering modern layouts and finishes without the premium attached to beachfront or golf-adjacent addresses. The streets are wide and quiet, and the area has a neighbourhood feel with local shops, bars, and a primary school. San Enrique suits buyers looking for a family home with space and privacy, or those who want a base near Sotogrande and Gibraltar without paying for a sea view. Golfers will appreciate the proximity to several courses, including La Cañada just a few minutes away. The area is well connected by road, making it practical for commuters or anyone who values easy access to Malaga, Cadiz, and the international schools and facilities of the wider San Roque area. The lifestyle here is relaxed and unpretentious. You are close enough to the coast for weekend beach trips, yet far enough inland to enjoy lower density and a more traditional pace. San Enrique offers good value for buyers who prioritise space, convenience, and a quiet setting over beachfront glamour.
