FAQ
Yes. Los Dragos in Nueva Andalucía is gated with controlled access, so entry is managed rather than open to the public. This gives residents a secure base, which suits those who leave a home empty for part of the year and want peace of mind while away.
The nearest beach is Playa Canina Ventura del Mar, 3.0 km away, about 10 minutes by car. The complex sits inland of the A-7 coastal road, so reaching the sand means a short drive rather than a walk. Puerto Deportivo José Banús is closer, 2.3 km and about 6 minutes by car.
Residents share tennis and padel courts and a gym within the community. Because these are communal, upkeep is handled through the community and shared across owners rather than falling to any one home. This spreads the cost of maintaining courts and equipment.
Real Club de Golf Las Brisas is 0.7 km away, about 4 minutes by car. Nueva Andalucía is one of the main golf areas on the Costa del Sol, so several courses lie within a short drive. This makes it a practical base for golfers who play often.
A supermarket is 0.8 km away, about 2 minutes by car, and Aloha College sits at 0.8 km, about 3 minutes by car. The Ambulatorio de Nueva Andalucía health centre is 1.3 km away. San Pedro Alcántara, the nearest town, is 3.3 km and about 8 minutes by car for wider shops and services.
Málaga Airport is 45 km away, about 57 minutes by car. That is a manageable transfer for visitors and for owners flying in and out through the year. The drive runs along the coast, so allow more time in peak holiday traffic.
