Properties for Sale in Lomas Del Higueron

Properties currently list between €449,000 and €925,000 as of June 2026. The development functions as a secure, amenity-led community rather than a standalone block, drawing buyers who prioritise resort-style living without leaving the area perimeter.

The architecture follows contemporary Mediterranean lines, with white facades and large terraces angled toward the coast. Residents share access to a pool, gym, spa, and 24-hour security, all enclosed within the perimeter. The atmosphere skews toward permanent residents and long-term owners rather than short-term holiday lettings, though the resort infrastructure attracts a proportion of international buyers seeking lock-and-leave convenience. the area connects directly to the wider Higuerón Resort, which includes restaurants, a sports club, and additional leisure facilities, meaning daily life can remain largely on-site. This appeals to buyers who value self-contained living but can feel insular for those who prefer proximity to traditional town centres.

Four properties are currently active on the market, with three apartments and one penthouse. The average price per square metre stands at €5,207 as of June 2026, reflecting the premium attached to resort access and security. The average sale price across listings is €629,500, though the range is wide enough to accommodate both entry-level apartments and larger penthouses approaching €1 million. The dominance of apartments and penthouses indicates a vertical rather than horizontal development, typical of hillside plots where land is limited. Market movement here tends to be slower than in beachfront Fuengirola, as buyers are filtering for specific criteria: gated security, shared amenities, and a preference for community living over independent villas.

This area suits buyers who want managed, secure living with minimal maintenance responsibility. It does not suit those seeking direct beach access or a village atmosphere. Fuengirola town centre sits a short drive below, but daily life here revolves around the internal amenities and the wider resort rather than the surrounding streets.
