Villas for Sale in Los Flamingos

These detached and semi-detached homes attract buyers who want low-density living, private pools and direct access to three championship courses.

Los Flamingos villas sit on generous plots, many with uninterrupted views across the golf valley or out to the Mediterranean. The area developed around the three courses designed by Antonio Garrido, and most villas were built between the early 2000s and the mid-2010s in contemporary Mediterranean or modern minimalist styles. Layouts typically range from three to six bedrooms spread over two or three levels, with open-plan living areas, terraces on multiple floors, and mature gardens that benefit from the established landscaping throughout the community. Buyers here are often families or semi-retired couples who prioritise outdoor space, quiet surroundings and immediate access to golf without the density of apartment living. Many villas come with private pools, covered and open terraces, and basement or ground-floor spaces that can be used as gyms, home offices or guest suites. The hillside topography means some properties are built into the slope, offering split-level designs and elevated views, while others on flatter plots provide single-level living with easier garden access. Choosing a villa in Los Flamingos instead of an apartment or townhouse means taking on garden and pool maintenance, but it also means no shared walls, no community restrictions on exterior changes, and greater freedom to personalise outdoor spaces. Security is managed by 24-hour gatehouse access and roving patrols, and while villas do not share communal pools or gyms, residents can use the clubhouse facilities at Villa Padierna and the beach club down the hill. The location appeals to buyers who want a residential golf setting within a ten-minute drive of San Pedro, Estepona and the coast, but who prefer the slower pace and green surroundings of Benahavis hill country. International schools in Estepona and Benahavis are nearby, and Malaga airport is just under an hour by motorway. Los Flamingos villas suit buyers looking for a permanent home with space to grow into, or a second residence where extended family can stay comfortably without feeling cramped.
