Los Arqueros penthouses occupy elevated positions within the gated golf resort, offering rooftop solariums and open views across the Benahavís hillside.
Many overlook the championship course, the Mediterranean coastline, or the surrounding Sierra de Ronda foothills.
A penthouse in Los Arqueros typically combines a main living floor with a private rooftop solarium, delivered either as an open terrace or partially covered lounge. The solarium is the defining feature. Buyers value the additional outdoor space for dining, sunbathing, or outdoor kitchens, all without the boundary shared with immediate neighbours. Many units command uninterrupted sightlines that stretch from the fairways below to the sea beyond Puerto Banús. Interiors tend toward two or three bedrooms, with open-plan living areas leading onto generous front terraces. Developments inside the resort include underground parking, communal pools, landscaped gardens, and 24-hour security. Because Los Arqueros sits above the coastal plain, afternoon sun lingers longer on rooftop spaces than in lower-lying schemes, and temperatures remain a few degrees cooler through summer. Proximity to the clubhouse, tennis courts, and restaurant adds convenience for buyers who live here through the year. Penthouses in Los Arqueros suit buyers seeking more than a single terrace and extra privacy compared to mid-floor apartments. Solarium space often exceeds the footprint of the interior, creating dedicated zones for lounging, outdoor fitness, or workspace. Some owners enclose sections with glass curtains to extend usable months. The combination of resort security, golf course setting, and rooftop living makes the property type particularly popular with downsizers from villas and second-home buyers who want lock-and-leave simplicity without sacrificing outdoor room. The resort lies inland of San Pedro de Alcántara, around ten minutes by car to the beach and fifteen to Puerto Banús. Málaga airport sits 70 kilometres east via the AP-7. Location draws buyers who prioritise golf, hillside quiet, and ease of maintenance over beachfront proximity. Resale stock dominates the market, with most buildings completed in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Condition and orientation vary, so viewing multiple units reveals differences in layout, sunlight hours, and solarium finish that photographs rarely capture.

Solariums in Los Arqueros penthouses commonly range from 50 to over 100 square metres, depending on the development and building footprint. Some occupy the full roof above the apartment, while others share rooftop access with neighbouring penthouses via separate staircases. Older schemes tend to offer larger, less uniform terraces than newer builds.
