Properties for Sale in Los Arqueros

The community sits approximately five kilometres inland from the coast, positioned between the A-7 coastal highway and the AP-7 toll road. The resort centres on a championship golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros, with residential streets rising up the hillside in tiers. San Pedro de Alcántara lies below to the south, Puerto Banús is a short drive east, and the town centre of Benahavís is accessible inland. Property for sale in Los Arqueros includes terraced villas, semi-detached houses, and apartment complexes, most of which were built from the late 1990s onward. Many homes feature private gardens or terraces, communal pool areas, and parking. The architecture reflects the golf resort style common to the western Costa del Sol, with whitewashed facades and terracotta roofs. Plots vary in size, and some properties have been extended or renovated by owners over the years. The community maintains 24-hour security at the main gate, and residents have access to a clubhouse with restaurant facilities, tennis courts, and a gym. Daily life here is quiet and residential, oriented around the golf course and private homes rather than commercial activity. Buyers typically include international families, retirees, and golf enthusiasts who prefer a secure, hillside setting with road access to the coast and inland villages. A car is necessary for shopping, schools, and healthcare, as the nearest services are in San Pedro or Nueva Andalucía. Los Arqueros real estate appeals to those who value a defined community environment within a golfing resort. The elevation provides cooler evening temperatures in summer compared to the coast, and the setting offers relative privacy while remaining within ten minutes of beaches and amenities. Buyers should consider the gated nature of the community, the reliance on a car for all errands, and the ongoing community fees that cover security and shared facilities.
