Most homes in The Hills feature private pools and gardens, alongside covered parking for multiple vehicles. Panoramic views are a defining characteristic, with many villas commanding perspectives over the sea, mountains, and countryside. Interiors typically include underfloor heating, and the elevated position of the plots ensures that villas benefit from natural light and outlook in multiple directions. The architecture reflects a style common to the region, with generous outdoor terraces and landscaped grounds that suit the climate and the topography.
The Hills appeals to families seeking a secure, residential environment close to schools and everyday conveniences. Golfers value the proximity to several courses in La Quinta and the wider Benahavis area. The combination of privacy, views, and accessibility also attracts buyers looking for a year-round residence or a holiday home with space and outdoor living. The villa format and gated entry suit those who prioritise security and a low-density community.
Location
The Hills sits above the AP-7, towards the mountains in La Quinta. You're about 11 minutes from Playa Canina Ventura del Mar, making it a genuine near-beach location with easy access to the coast. Málaga Airport is a 61-minute drive away. The area offers golf at El Higueral Golf just 9 minutes away, and San Pedro Alcántara town centre is 8 minutes by car for daily shopping and dining. Healthcare is close with Ambulatorio de Nueva Andalucia nearby, and you have school options including Aloha College at 10 minutes and Colegio de Educación Infantil y Primaria José Banús at 11 minutes. This location works well for families wanting mountain views with beach access, and for golfers who want to be near courses without being in the busiest coastal strip.

FAQ
Yes. The Hills in La Quinta has gated entry with controlled access, plus on-site security and shared gardens. That setup suits buyers who want a low-density, private setting and it also makes the villas easy to leave locked up when you are away.
Playa de San Pedro is 4.6 km away, around 10 minutes by car. The complex sits inland of the A-7 coastal road on elevated ground, so the beach is a short drive rather than a walk. The trade-off is the raised position gives the villas their sea and mountain views.
San Pedro Alcántara is 3.0 km away, about 8 minutes by car, and a supermarket is 2.2 km. Ambulatorio de Nueva Andalucía is 2.7 km for health care, and Creators International School is 4.1 km. Most day-to-day errands here need a car.
El Higueral Golf is 2.0 km from the community, about 9 minutes by car, and there are more courses across La Quinta and the wider Benahavís area. Golfers can reach a first tee without a long drive, which is part of why the setting works for regular play.
Málaga Airport is 48 km away, roughly 61 minutes by car. That is a manageable run for guests or for a lock up and leave home. Puerto Deportivo José Banús is closer, at 5.3 km, about 12 minutes by car.
