FAQ
Yes. Malibu is gated with controlled access on the Costa del Sol. There is 24-hour reception on site, along with surveillance, entry phones and alarm systems. This suits buyers who leave the home empty for stretches, as the grounds stay watched while you are away.
Malibu sits on the beachfront in Puerto Banús, and most homes are directly on the sand. That means beach access is a short walk from your door rather than a drive. The trade-off with a frontline position is more foot traffic along the promenade in the warmer season.
Residents share a heated communal pool, landscaped gardens, a spa and a gym with concierge and security on site. These are maintained through the community, so upkeep of the pool and grounds is handled rather than left to each owner. Expect a community fee to cover this.
Yes. The Puerto Banús marina, shops, schools and the port are all within walking distance of Malibu. Daily errands and dining rarely need a car. For trips further along the Costa del Sol, a car is more practical.
Malibu works for families who want schools and beaches close by, and for second-home owners who want resort facilities without losing everyday convenience. The frontline beach setting and secure grounds also suit those who split time between homes or want a year-round base in Puerto Banús.
