Golf Properties for Sale in Benahavís

Golf property here ranges from frontline fairway villas to apartments within gated complexes that share clubhouse access and manicured views.

The village itself lies inland in the hills above Marbella, but the golf corridor runs south through the valley towards San Pedro de Alcántara and the coast. Courses including Los Arqueros, La Quinta, Atalaya, El Higueral and Los Flamingos form a near-continuous belt of fairways, and most golf property sits within or immediately beside these estates. Frontline homes offer direct access onto the course, often with a gate from the garden. These tend to be detached villas with large plots, though a handful of townhouse rows also open directly onto fairways. Set-back property within the same developments enjoys elevated or framed views over multiple holes and shares the same security and maintenance standards. Apartments and penthouses are common in complexes built around the clubhouse, where buyers prioritise convenience and lower upkeep over private garden space. Golf developments in Benahavís typically include 24-hour security, communal pools, shuttle services to the clubhouse and priority tee-time booking for residents. Some offer discounted membership or proprietary access schemes. The setting is quiet outside tournament weeks, and most owners are either full-time residents or long-stay seasonal players. Supermarkets, international schools and private clinics are a short drive towards San Pedro or Nueva Andalucía, while the village of Benahavís itself remains a dining destination rather than a day-to-day shopping hub. Buyers should verify whether a property includes club membership, what guest and resale policies apply, and how community fees are structured. Older golf estates can have lower fees but may lack modern amenities, while newer complexes often add spa access and co-working spaces to the package. Rental potential varies: long-term tenants who play regularly are easier to secure than short-term holidaymakers, and some communities restrict or prohibit tourist lettings altogether.
