Gardens, security and service load are handled at resort level, hotel amenities sit within the gates, and the beach club is a short shuttle away on the Casares shore.

One listing at a time is the normal state of this market, so the current price describes the resort's tier rather than a bargaining position. Buyers comparing on numbers should look at Sotogrande's La Reserva or the Marbella Club Golf Resort; buyers comparing on quietness will find Finca Cortesín smaller and more finished than either.

It suits buyers for whom the resort is the destination: golf-first owners, privacy seekers who want hotel service without hotel crowds, and buyers landing between Marbella and Sotogrande deliberately. Anyone optimising price per square metre should stay with the rest of Casares, which is, by the numbers, one of the coast's better-value markets.
