Location
Palo Alto sits above the AP-7, positioned towards the mountains on Marbella's established residential side. Playa de la Bajadilla is an 11-minute drive away for beach access. Málaga Airport is 56 minutes away, making it convenient for regular travel. Greenlife Golf Marbella and Marina Marbella are both within 22 and 12 minutes respectively, while Mercadona supermarket serves daily shopping needs just 12 minutes away. Marbella town centre takes 13 minutes to reach. This location works well for families wanting mountain views and easy access to the coast, plus those who value proximity to golf and marina amenities without being right on the seafront.

FAQ
Yes. Palo Alto is a gated community with controlled access and security on site, along with a concierge. That setup suits people who lock up and leave for stretches, since the grounds stay watched while you are away.
Playa de la Bajadilla is 6.8 km away, about 11 minutes by car. This is a drive, not a walk. Palo Alto sits inland of the A-7 coastal road in the hills above Ojén, so the coast is close but not on your doorstep.
Residents share a pool, a gym, a tennis court, a spa and landscaped gardens. There is also security and a concierge. Shared amenities like these come with community fees that cover their upkeep, so it is worth checking what the charges include before you buy.
It works for both. The British International School is 7.2 km away, about 12 minutes by car, and Hospital Recoletas Salud Marbella is 6.2 km, about 11 minutes. The spa and gym support daily wellness, which matters more for permanent residents than holidaymakers.
Málaga Airport is 35 km away, about 56 minutes by car, so visitors face just under an hour on arrival. Marbella is much closer at 6.7 km, roughly 13 minutes, which is where you will head for the marina and daily shopping.
