The Golden Mile connects Marbella's old quarter with Puerto Banús, so the location delivers both convenience and coastal living.
Most homes look out over gardens, the communal pool, or wider panoramic views that take in the sea and mountains. The community keeps its grounds well planted, with mature palms and lawns around the pool areas. Private terraces and covered terraces are standard, and most apartments include their own parking space and a storage room. Lifts serve the buildings, and the complex runs 24-hour security alongside gated entry and intercom systems. Inside, air conditioning, double glazing, and fibre-optic internet come fitted in many homes, while some feature en-suite bathrooms and fireplaces for cooler evenings.
Marina Puente Romano suits year-round residents who value a beachside base with easy access to schools, shops, and transport links. It also appeals to second-home owners who want a lock-up-and-leave apartment in a secure setting close to golf, sailing, and Marbella's restaurants. Families and professionals both find the balance of quiet gardens and nearby amenities practical, and the combination of security, location, and communal facilities makes it a sensible choice for those who spend part of the year on the coast.

FAQ
Yes. Marina de Puente Romano is gated with controlled access on The Golden Mile in Marbella. There is 24-hour security alongside the gated entry and intercom systems, so residents can leave the apartment for long stretches with peace of mind. That setup suits owners who spend only part of the year on the coast.
The community shares a swimming pool, planted gardens and tennis, all kept within the gated grounds. Mature palms and lawns surround the pool areas. Shared upkeep of these spaces is covered by the community, which is one less thing for a part-time owner to manage.
It works for both year-round living and second-home use. Families and professionals get quiet gardens with schools, shops and transport close by, while lock-up-and-leave owners get a secure base near golf and the marina. The balance of security and location on the Costa del Sol fits either pattern.
The beach, the marina, golf courses and Marbella town centre are all within walking distance from the complex. The Golden Mile links the old quarter with Puerto Banús, so most daily needs and dining sit along one stretch of coast. A car helps for anything further afield.
The Golden Mile is one of the best-known stretches on the Costa del Sol, running between Marbella's old town and Puerto Banús. Living here means restaurants, sailing and golf are all close. The trade-off is a busy, well-known part of Marbella rather than a quiet backwater.
