Apartments for Sale in La Carolina

Properties here currently list between €350,000 and €455,000, with an average price of €418,333 as of June 2026. the area operates as an open community without perimeter gates, offering communal gardens, a swimming pool, and on-site security. Its position on the Golden Mile places it within walking distance of beach clubs, restaurants, and the coastal promenade.

The development follows a low-rise Mediterranean style typical of older Golden Mile constructions, with whitewashed facades and terracotta roofing. Communal gardens provide green space between blocks, and the pool area serves as the social centre during summer months. Security operates through a concierge system rather than controlled access points, which gives the area a more residential feel than many newer gated alternatives. The absence of gates appeals to buyers who prefer the atmosphere of a traditional Spanish neighbourhood over a closed enclave. Owner-occupiers form the majority here, though some units operate as long-term rentals. Holiday letting is less common than in residential areas closer to Puerto Banús.

Three active listings as of June 2026 reflect a quiet market, with apartments and penthouses making up the available stock. The average price per square metre stands at €6,121, which positions La Carolina in the mid-range for the Golden Mile, below beachfront developments but above inland alternatives. The price spread from €350,000 to €455,000 suggests variation in size and condition rather than dramatic differences in specification. Penthouses command a premium, though the area lacks the tower blocks that define newer builds. Turnover here tends to be slow, with owners holding for years rather than flipping quickly. Buyers should expect limited choice at any given time, and properties that come to market often sell to existing residents or through word of mouth before reaching wider portals.

La Carolina suits buyers who want a Golden Mile address without paying beachfront premiums or living behind gates. Families and retirees who value proximity to amenities over resort-style facilities will find it practical. The open layout limits privacy compared to gated alternatives, and the pool area can feel crowded during peak season. Most units offer balconies overlooking the gardens, with mature planting providing shade and a settled, lived-in atmosphere.
